The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), in collaboration with multiple departments, has issued the *Green Design Guidelines for Industrial Products (2026 Edition)*, identifying fiber-reinforced composites as a key focus area and encouraging new material enterprises to integrate green and low-carbon concepts from the very source of product R&D. The policy encourages resin companies to optimize production processes, reduce pollutant emissions during manufacturing, and develop environmentally friendly resin products with low volatility, corrosion resistance, and recyclability, in line with the lightweight development trends in wind power, photovoltaics, and transportation equipment, so as to promote the green upgrade of the entire composite materials industry chain.
